March 2004
Hopefully winter'll soon be loosening its grip, and the Car-Chat fleet can look forward to some much needed TLC over the next month or so. Enough mild weather to convince the authorities that they don't need to spray tonnes of grit at me every time I take to the road would be a bonus too.
I think I speak for us all when I say that February inflicted a notable amount of wear and tear, mostly at Bruntingthorpe. The dry track and our high hopes of oversteer gave the vehicles a tough time, but at least it was a rewarding occasion for the drivers!
As we look ahead to M.A.D. Wales, there's some interesting new appearances in the line up. BenH and James are coming for the first time, and it looks like Ben Luker will be sporting a massive 4.4 V8; I imagine this'll provide the rest of us with a challenge! And now that the Carlton's sold, we're all wondering what Andy'll pull out of the bag for this event. Hopefully not the Calibra.
